Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy was last updated on 26 October 2026 and applies to visitors to this website in the United Kingdom.
1. The short version
This website does not set any cookies of its own. There is no analytics software, no advertising, no tracking pixels and no social media embeds. Nothing is stored in your browser as you move around the site, and nothing you do here is used to build a profile of you.
There is one exception, described in section 4: the enquiry form on our Contact page is provided by a third party and may set cookies when it loads.
2. What are cookies?
A cookie is a small file that a website asks your browser to store on your computer or device. On a later visit, the information in it can be sent back to that website, or to the third party that set it. Related technologies such as tracking pixels and web beacons work in a similar way. This website uses none of them.
3. Why we do not need a consent banner
Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, consent is required before storing non-essential cookies on your device. Because this website stores nothing of its own, there is nothing for you to consent to, and so we do not show a cookie banner. We would rather not interrupt you with a request for permission we do not need.
4. The enquiry form
The enquiry form on our Contact page is embedded from a third-party service, Fillout. When that form loads, Fillout may set cookies in your browser that are necessary for it to work — for example to keep track of a part-completed form. These cookies are set by Fillout, under its own privacy and cookie policies, not by us.
The form appears only on the Contact page. If you do not visit that page, nothing third-party is loaded at all.
What you type into the form is sent to Fillout and passed on to us so that we can reply. We explain this in our Privacy Policy.
5. Server logs
Our hosting provider, Netlify, keeps standard server logs of requests to the website. These are not cookies — nothing is stored on your device — but they do record technical information such as an IP address, browser type and the time of the request. They are used to operate and secure the website and to diagnose faults.
6. Managing cookies in your browser
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, and set your browser to warn you each time a cookie is offered. Because this website sets none of its own, doing so will not affect how it works, although blocking third-party cookies may affect the enquiry form.
7. Your rights over personal data
You have the following rights in respect of your personal data:
- to be told why your personal data is needed, what will happen to it and how long it will be kept;
- of access — to see the personal data we hold about you;
- of rectification — to have incomplete or incorrect data completed or corrected;
- to withdraw consent where you have given it, and to have the data deleted;
- to data portability — to receive your data and have it transferred to another controller;
- to object to the processing of your data, which we will honour unless there are justified grounds to continue.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details below. If you have a complaint about how we have handled your data we would like to hear from you, but you also have the right to complain to the supervisory authority, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
8. Changes to this policy
This policy describes the website as it currently stands. If we add anything that sets cookies — analytics, for example, or an embedded map or video — we will update this policy and introduce a consent banner before doing so.
